Clients from community?
How Yurii structures strategy + the systems that turn relationships into revenue, RSVP for Tuesday!

So, I’ve moved the newsletter to Thursdays. Clearly.
A collaborator I was talking to asked, “Who decided it had to ship on Wednesdays?” and I realised… there was no good reason. Not strategy, not even an advertising partnership I couldn’t move.
Meanwhile, my early-week has been a pressure cooker to get everything out on time.
So this way, you’ll still get candid advice, just with a calmer author and (hopefully) fewer typos. And I get space to breathe… 🌬️

Help Shape the Future of Candid Community
I’ve kicked off user research for Candid Collab (and for anyone who works with/in/for a community). If you’re curious why I care, here’s a short explainer.
I like to follow The Mom Test, by Rob Fitzpatrick, because “my friend said they love it” is not data, it’s practically dessert. Here’s three rules I never skip:
1) Talk about their life, not your idea.
Ask: “When was the last time you…?” not “Would you use a platform that…?”
Why it matters: Real behavior beats hypothetical enthusiasm. Hypotheticals buy you compliments; specifics buy you truth.
2) Ask for specifics from the past.
“How did you solve this last time? What did you try first? What broke?”
Why it matters: Past actions expose the actual job-to-be-done, constraints, and the workarounds they already pay for (with time or money).
3) Look for commitment, not praise.
Time on the calendar, intros, sharing a doc, forwarding an invoice, these are yeses.
Why it matters: Compliments are free; commitments are costly. Costly signals are better predictors of adoption.
So, go on then, do me a wee favour and give us some feedback? 😉

WhatsApp Schedulers: Power or Poison?
Blueticks lets you schedule messages + light message campaigns from WhatsApp Web.
My take: KEEP (with caveats). It’s currently web-only and not cute, but if you run a WhatsApp community or message clients, it saves hours and keeps you consistent. See the full review in the Candid Community.

My tips for use:
Schedule in local time windows (09:30–12:00)
Keep batches tiny to stay human
Use lists to organise your contacts and find them easily
