Because sometimes you need to be honest and realise the algorithm won’t just get people in the room. I’m low-key panicking and also very proud of this little scrappy sprint.

I built a whole-ass community engagement plan...
Then realised I never turned on notifications so nobody saw anything.
I basically shouted into the void for two weeks straight. 😩
Your penance, my child:
1) Check the plumbing before the party.
Run through your UX like a lurker:
→ Are notifications on?
→ Do links work?
→ Does onboarding land where it should?
2) Send one “oops, my bad” re-engagement email.
→ Be honest, be funny, be human.
→ Bonus points if you blame Mercury retrograde or the dog somehow.
3) Add a checklist to your launch workflow.
If it’s not in the system, it will 100% be forgotten in the chaos.
Every mistake is now part of your engagement playbook. 🙏
